Our beginning
How did we Start?
Metro Tours began operations in March of 1981 as a travel agency
focusing on air travel business. As our business grew, we
decided to expand our operations by creating the Incoming
Tourism Department. This department focused solely on providing
excursions to the many wonderful destinations and events within
the Dominican Republic. As of today, Metro Tours is positioned
as one of the top Dominican Tour Operators with a worldwide
client base.
Where are we located?
We
have three branches located in the Dominican Republic. Our main
sales office is located in the capital city of Santo Domingo.
The office is located on 27th of February between Lincoln avenue
and Tiradentes. The other branch located in Santo Domingo is
located at the Megacentro Plaza in the Oriental Zone of Santo
Domingo. The third branch is located in the city of Santiago.
This full service branch is located at Plaza Texas on the corner
of Texas and Bartolme Colon avenue.

As a
wholesale tour operator, we obtain very competitive rates and
privileges for our clients. This includes travel benefits
throughout the world.
We are Wholesalers Tour operators and in that condition we hold
negotiated and very competitive rates. These advantages we
extend them to the Dominican citizens for all the hotels in the
Country.
Cruises
We
offersell all the major cruise lines and their plentiful
itineraries. These lines include,Cruise Lines such as: Cunard
Line (with the newest and biggest ship of the World Queen Mary
2), Seabourn Cruise Line, Orient Lines, Silversea, Radisson
Seven Seas, Holland America, Seadream Yacht Club, Celebrity

(which owns the magnificent “The World” ship), among others.
